ACT (American College Test) is a college entrance exam covering English, Reading, Math, and Science Reasoning. Students may also take the Writing portion, which is optional but may be required as part of the admissions process to some colleges and universities.
- Please request that standardized test scores are sent to Homewood High School. The high school code (CEEB code) is 011464.
- For test dates, registration deadlines, and costs, and to register, visit www.actstudent.org. If you need help registering for the ACT, please see your school counselor.
- The ACT is offered in September, October, December, February, April, June, and July. The registration deadline is about 6 weeks prior to the test date.
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a college entrance exam that tests a student's knowledge in three areas - Critical Reading, Writing, and Math.- Please request that standardized test scores be sent to Homewood High School. The high school code (CEEB code) is 011464.

- The SAT is offered in October, November, December, March, May, and June. The registration deadline is about 6 weeks prior to the test date.
Fee Waivers- If you are a student who qualifies for assistance with the free/reduced lunch program, then you will qualify for a waiver to cover the cost of the ACT or SAT.
- Students must either be in their junior or senior year to qualify for a fee waiver, and may receive a maximum four waivers for each test during their high school career.
- Students should see Mrs. Davenport or Mr. Deavers for a fee waiver form prior to the registration deadline for the test you plan to take.
